Christian Tye Tees Off at the YouTube Creators Golf Cup

This summer, Christian Tye joined the YouTube Creators Golf Cup at the prestigious Centurion Club.

The event, staged in partnership with YouTube Creators, brought together around 120 creators and 25 golf professionals for a day of competition, content, and community on the greens just outside London. It marked the first UK edition of the Creators Golf Cup, following successful outings in the Netherlands and Germany. The format mixed friendly rivalry with fun challenges in a Texas scramble-style setup across a limited number of holes, all designed to showcase how accessible and entertaining golf can be while giving creators space to connect offline. 

Christian, the London-born storyteller, comedian, actor and digital creator known for his sharp sketches, heartfelt stories and massive online reach (multi-million followers and billions of views across platforms), was right in the mix. The backdrop featured bold YouTube Creator Collective branding and the event’s signature “Meet up where you belong” messaging. Participants sported coordinated green-and-white golf attire, reflecting the day’s relaxed yet energetic vibe under clear skies. 

For Christian, it was another chance to expand beyond the screen, network with peers, and experience a high-profile creator gathering organised by YouTube. Christian’s presence at Centurion Club highlights the breadth of experiences available to modern creators from viral storytelling to swinging a club alongside industry peers.
